Morgan and Pashley launch 110th anniversary bicycle

A bicycle: for a child, it’s the opportunity to explore new horizons and take a first step towards true independence. For an adult, it’s the perfect way to dart around a busy city, or maybe just a well-earned indulgence. But, no matter who it’s for, a bike always makes the perfect birthday gift.
So, as Morgan celebrates a rather special anniversary – its 110th – how better to mark the occasion than with the creation of a bicycle all of its own? A birthday gift to itself, if you will.
That’s where Pashley Cycles has come in. It’s a brand which possibly represents Morgan’s pedal-powered equivalent. Similarly steeped in history, the bikemaker holds dear the values of craftsmanship, quality materials and unique design, just like Morgan.

The result is the Pashley-Morgan 110 Limited Edition. Just 110 will be made, each individually numbered with a speedometer-style engraving to the headset cap.
The bike is fillet brazed – a welding method that creates a much stronger frame – by Pashley’s time-served craftsmen using Reynolds 725 tubing, and incorporates a custom-formed top tube, distinctive S-bend seat stays and unique dropouts with etched stainless faces.
The bike is finished in a celebratory Satin Champagne coating with Morgan 110 graphics and subtle livery inspired by Morgan’s heritage. Other features include hand-stitched black leather grips, Morgan switchgear-inspired aluminium end caps, and a Brooks Black Cambium C15 vulcanised rubber saddle with organic cotton surface.

Colour-matched aluminium mudguards with stainless steel hardware compliment the frame, offering practicality for all-season riding. The bike also features a 1×10 drivetrain – echoing the ‘110’ theme – with a wide range cassette, and powerful hydraulic brakes. High-volume tyres offer a fast rolling but comfortable ride across a variety of surfaces.
This isn’t the first bike that Morgan and Pashley have collaborated on, though. Last year, the brands launched the Pashley-Morgan 3 and 8 models, which became an immediate hit with Morgan owners and enthusiasts alike.
The Pashley-Morgan 110 Limited Edition will make its debut at the Eurobike 2019 show in Friedrichshafen, Germany on 5 September 2019, and be shown in the UK for the first time at Goodwood Revival on 13-15 September 2019. Orders for the bike will open at Eurobike 2019, and first deliveries are scheduled for November 2019.
